We are a fully registered limited company in the UK and set up with the intention to HELP
. Our aim
(which came about during a cost-of-living crisis) is to link trades services and suppliers to a customer
base that may not be in the financial position to outlay large sums to hire skilled trades. Our
founder's background is a trade background, and the intentions are to give away construction prizes
to the public while also helping trades and suppliers. It is Win, Win, Win.
As our lists of winners grow, we will always ask those to appear on our site (with their permission) to
show our future customers we are here to help. To help You, to help the trades industry & suppliers,
and to help local trades work for local people, this is our founder's passion.
We run prize draws which are fully compliant with the playing act of 2005.
The competition draw date and time is stated on the entry page from each competition. This is subject
to rollover as per terms & conditions.
If you did not complete payment or your payment failed, your order will show as cancelled. Orders
will automatically be cancelled after 10 minutes if a successful payment has not been received by us.
Once you purchase tickets, your ticket number(s) will be shown in either;
- The confirmation page at point of purchase
- On an automated confirmation email receipt sent to the email address of your account
- In the ‘orders’ section of your account dashboard
Automated
draws
Our automated draws use PHP code to randomly generate a number when the competition has
ended. More details about our automated draws can be found here: phpdrawsexplained. The winner is then contacted directly by us and following
verification their details passed onto the trades for planning and installation of the prizes. Winners will be posted (photo, prize, first name only for privacy, ticket info etc no address info) on our
winners' page only after the prize has been fully installed.
Live draws
On occasion, and to show transparency, our live draws will usually take place with a previous winner
(only agreed by previous winner), a sponsored trade or supplier business address, or our offices.
These will be broadcast on social media with winners drawn at random in various unique ways. If a
ticket number is drawn that has not been sold, we will continue to draw random numbers until a
ticket number produces a winner
Instant wins
Instant win competitions work by having a pre-determined list of numbers all given prizes or non-
prizes. An automated instant ticket number selection then chooses a ticket number at purchase and
if this corresponds to a prize number on the list, you instantly win the prize!
If an automated or live draw you have entered does not sell out, the draw will 100% still take place,
however one of the following may happen as per the website and/or draw's specific terms &
conditions, the draws will either;
- Rollover and will in turn be rescheduled. Your tickets will still be valid, and rollover so your
chance of winning will remain the same. - Or the draw will continue regardless of not being sold out and be drawn on the time and
date, giving you a better chance of winning
In the case of instant win prizes which have not been won within the time limit of the competition,
they will be forfeited, however those prizes will then be reloaded onto our next instant win
competition along with the other prizes.
Whether you are a customer, tradesperson or supplier, we send out SMS, emails and app
notifications to all customers who register with us as part of our core services. You can opt out of
these any time as per our privacy policy.
Instant win competitions work by having a pre-determined list of numbers all allocated either prizes
or non-prizes. An automated instant ticket number selection (php code) then chooses a ticket
number at purchase and if this corresponds to a prize number on the list, you instantly win the
prize!
Win A Builder is was set up with the intention to help our customers. We are truly committed to
responsible play only. We implore you to only play within your limits and please use the following
safe playing guidance;
Spending limit - Please set yourself a desired monthly spending limit to play with.- Take Time Outs - Please take time outs. Set yourself breaks for set periods of time.
- Permanant Self Exclusion – Exclude yourself from our system permanently.

We do not send unsolicited spam; we only send communications to registered members of our
services. If you do receive communications you are concerned about, please contact us and we will
confirm they are part of our service and not malicious communications.
We use these communications as part of our services to provide you with updates on services,
competitions and prizes. However, if you do wish to opt out;
SMS - To opt out of receiving SMS messages, simply use the link on the SMS and this will
unsubscribe you from our SMS notification service.- EMAIL - To opt out of receiving email notifications, simply use the unsubscribe link on the
bottom of the emails. You will then be removed from our email notification service. - Further Info – If you would like to opt out of both SMS and Email, please contact us at
optout@winabuilder.co.uk (having no contact preferences may inhibit our ability to notify
you of prize wins etc)
There will be a set number of free entry tickets per competition (these will be displayed on the
competition page). These tickets are chosen randomly from any received by the postal entry route:
You may enter the competition for free using the Postal Entry Route by complying with the free
postal entry terms & conditions
The number of tickets per draw will vary depending on various factors. You can see the percentage/
percentage/ number of tickets sold on each competition page.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to amend or withdraw a purchased ticket(s) after conformation/
payment of the ticket(s).
We aim to only provide the prizes as advertised in our competitions. However, certain competitions
will offer a cash alternative to the prize. This will be clearly stated on the specific competition page
and in the specific competition terms.
To show transparency and confirm we do what we say, we will request a winner's photo of either
you (only if you agree) or your prize with the trades team on the completed install from the trades
team. This is for two main reasons;
1. To confirm you are happy with your prize's installation and our trades team
2. To show our other customers that our competitions are trustworthy
